I was recently commissioned by STV Group to photograph the Calatrava designed World Trade Center Transportation Hub “Oculus” in New York City. See some of what I captured here.
The New York Times interviewed architect Deborah Berke about her 21c Museum Hotel Designs in last weekend’s travel section. The hotel photography was by yours truly. Click here to see.
Congrats to New York City based Lubrano Ciavarra Architects for having their West Village town house renovation published in the April 2015 issue of Dwell using photography by Chris Cooper. Click here to see the photography and article.
I’ve always wanted to show a before and after shot on my website but didn’t want to clutter it up, but now with my new blog I have the perfect place. I recently took this photo of a private equity firm in Greenwich, Connecticut for HLW International. The top photo shows the image after I selectively edit the color and contrast in Photoshop and the bottom image shows what the native capture looked like before any edits were made.
New York City’s skyline is constantly changing! Great view of the Viñoly designed residential tower today from our Park Avenue shoot with architecture firm Deborah Berke Partners. Above is the view shot with my iPhone (those cameras are getting good!) and below is a photograph from our project.
I recently arranged a helicopter to photograph the very store I shop in regularly…. the new Whole Foods Market in Brooklyn, New York. Much of the produce from the store is grown in the rooftop greenhouse and the parking structures are solar panels. This BL Companies designed project is one of the greenest buildings in NYC!
